Front-End Fundamentals Bootcamp
For Immigrants and Women in Tech
This bootcamp was created with a mission to support women and immigrants, providing them with a strong foundation to step into the tech world confidently. More than just learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, participants explored how to create responsive and accessible websites and got hands-on experience with modern development tools.
But it wasn’t all about code—it was about building a community. The program focused on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging collaboration and networking among participants. By the end, participants didn’t just walk away with technical skills but also with the confidence to embark on their tech journeys and the inspiration to explore new career opportunities. Some even went on to create their own websites or enroll in advanced training programs.
React and Vue.js Bootcamps
For Companies Looking to Build Stronger Teams
These bootcamps were all about empowering junior developers and setting them up for success. Whether it’s React or Vue.js, attendees learned the building blocks of dynamic, component-based applications and tackled state management with confidence.
The secret sauce? Real-world practice. Participants worked on collaborative projects using GitHub—managing branches, workflows, and teamwork. Beyond technical skills, the program instilled the confidence needed to thrive in any development team, helping participants grow into strong and capable contributors.
Front-End Bootcamp for Industry Professionals
For UX Designers, PMs, and Tech Enthusiasts
Ever wanted to peek behind the curtain and see how developers bring ideas to life? This bootcamp for Laba (Robot Dreams) did just that. It gave UX designers, PMs, and other non-technical professionals a front-row seat to the world of front-end development—no prior coding experience required!
Through HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, attendees gained a clearer understanding of workflows and tools, bridging the divide between technical and non-technical teams. Whether collaborating with developers or building their own prototypes, this program empowered participants to speak the same language and work toward shared goals with confidence.
Introducing Angular to the Developer Community
In 2014, I had the privilege of speaking at a GDG (Google Developer Group) event, where I shared my excitement about Angular with an enthusiastic group of developers.
My talk, Angular Kickstart, wasn’t just about introducing a tool—it showcased Angular’s potential to simplify workflows and accelerate web development. The session encouraged attendees to explore new approaches, fostering curiosity and collaboration. Angular Kickstart on Youtube
